Here are some photos from a house demolition in the village of Dixboro. This was a 1100 sq. ft. single story home with a partial basement. The debris was separated into wood and concrete, then loaded into dumpsters. After the debris was hauled away, the hole was inspected and filled in.
The photos above were taken in July 2011 in Mathei Farms subdivision - Ann Arbor, MI. The septic system was installed for a new 4 bedroom home with two septic tanks (1000 & 1500 gallon) connected to a 1600 sq. ft. drainfield.
After receiving a call about a cracked septic tank, uncovering the tank reveled several stress cracks in the top of the tank. The old septic tank was pumped out, then crushed and hauled to the dump. The hole was enlarged to receive the new tank and set in place with a truck mounted crane. Lastly, the tank was re-connected to the other septic tank and drainfield, then covered.

Replacement Septic System
These photos are from a replacement septic system installed in November 2011. The homeowner called after having sewage on the lawn, indicating a failed drainfield. Once a permit was secured the work started. Most replacement systems can be completed in one week. Call Mike for a free estimate. 734-395-9813
